Testing integrity of deep concrete foundations.
This picture shows an application in checking the integrity of deep concrete foundations. Access tubes placed in the foundation as it is made allow sources and receivers to measure traveltimes in the concrete, and then tomographic inversion is used to determine if there are zones of low velocity indicating voids or poor concrete.
